What To Expecting During Your First Orthopaedic Appointment
Appointment Information
During your first appointment with Dr. Elton, he and his team will gather your medical history, perform a physical exam, and order any tests necessary to diagnose your injury or condition.
If you are a new patient, please arrive at your appointment early in order to complete the registration process. Additionally, please bring the following:
Driver's License or State ID
Referral (If Required by Insurer)
Insurance Information
Copies of Operation Records, Medical Records, X-rays, MRIs, and CT Scans from Prior Doctor Visits
A List of Current Medications and Any Known Allergies
Efficient scheduling practices ensure that you will spend more time with your doctor, and less time waiting for him.
Dr. Elton is often able to accommodate same or next-day patients. However, for urgent cases, you can visit the Urgent Care office of Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery in Frisco, Colorado.
